What is Acnezine?

Acnezine is a 100% natural acne remedy that is designed to target and kill the acne bacteria. This herbal product was developed to target the free radicals in the body that are responsible for infection underneath the skin, resulting in acne breakouts on various areas of the body.

Acnezine was previously sold as Acuzine, it is one of many products on the market that treat acne but the difference (compared to many other products) is that it uses ingredients that have been proven in clinical tests to successfully treat acne. This acne treatment is made with 100% natural antioxidant ingredients; therefore there are no side effects and no need for a prescription or dermatologist supervision.

Acnezine is a safe and natural alternative to prescription solutions which can have severe side effects like:

- Dry skin

- Dry eyes

- Dry lips

- Cracked Lips

- And more

Acnezine was created to:

1- Control oil secretion in your skin with antioxidant to reduce acne.

2- Heal blemishes and prevent new ones from forming

3- Eliminates free radicals that are dangerous to your skin.

4- Fight inflammation

5- Help to reduce redness

How long before you see any results?

Acnezine is an herbal treatment that is in pill form, the treatment can take up to a couple of weeks before you see any real results, this is mainly due to the fact that it was designed to work from the inside out.

Will it work for you?

Unfortunately there is no miracle cure when it comes to acne treatments. The problem with acne solutions is that one product may be very effective for one person and do nothing for the next. Although the acnezine formula has been used by thousands of different users with great success, some have seen no difference at all.

Finding Herbal Treatments For Acne

Normal 0 false false false

Probably the biggest benefit of using alternate herbal treatments for acne is the fact that the herbs are a perennial plant that just does not seem to go away or lose its potency. This alternative method of treatment enjoys an enviable reputation worldwide and it has been used effectively for treating patients that have not responded to other more regular forms of treatment. It is also noted for treating adults.

If you have not paid enough attention to eating a healthy diet in order to build skin that is healthy, you should look to herbal treatment for acne as a means to remedy your problems with your skin. No doubt, not taking the proper diet will not really affect the quality of your skin, but a proper diet will ensure that your skin tone is on the up and the skin remains healthy, especially when compared to eating of foods rich in fats.

How to Restore Your Hormonal Balance

Another benefit derived by opting for herbal treatment for acne is that you will gain in a number of other ways including having the balance of your hormones restored, and of course having a rejuvenated skin. If you suffer from a persistent imbalance in hormones, especially in the male species, your skin would be more prone to having an outbreak of acne, this is where herbal treatment for acne comes into play.

It is a historical fact that herbal treatment for acne will greatly reduce acne from developing. Fortunately there are a number of different herbal types that will do the trick for you. These alternate treatments include the following:

1. One of the better known herbal treatments for acne is Aloe Vera which is easily available and is also widely used. Its potency lays in the fact that it contains astringent as well as anti-bacterial properties that are very effective when applied directly to the skin.

2. Or, you may opt for Calendula which may be used as a facial steam that is sure to provide healing, you can use it as a cream which is also possible as it is readily available as a cream in any local pharmacy.

3. Lavender is another herbal treatment for acne that can provide relief from inflammations.

4. Another option available to you is Golden Seal which will stop oozing as it contains excellent anti-microbial properties.

5. Yet another option open to you would be to use Tea Tree Oil that is anti-septic, however it should be diluted prior to use.

6. You may also be pleasantly surprised to know of yet another herbal treatment for acne which is Walnut lead. This is a good astringent that can be used to wash your face where it will start to contract the pores and prevent further acne build-up.

Another method with some of the herbal treatments for acne, rather than apply them on the skin, can be consumed, a good example of this is mixing dandelion with milk thistle that will not only clean the blood, but also clean out the liver and cure your acne.

With herbal treatment for acne, you are assured of a better natural means to treat your acne rather than the chemical based products so widely touted as being the ultimate treatment method for acne problems.

Acne Light Treatment Presents Very Illuminating Results

A part of the reason for the majority of acne is that underneath a persons skin is a growing bacteria. Despite what you may have heard from your parents when you were younger, the cause of acne is not due to eating too much pizza or chocolate, although if you touch your face with oily hands you might end up blocking the pores where bacteria has the ability to grow and hide.

One treatment that tends to be effective for acne has to do with the destruction of bacteria and it had been discovered that an acne light treatment has the capability of producing fast results in breaking up the bacteria which is the cause of acne.

Even though benzoyl peroxide is well known and a recognized leader in the elimination of acne as well as being utilized in the majority of acne treatments, utilizing blue and red acne light treatment is proving to be very helpful for people suffering from acne.

Some individuals are unable to tolerate benzoyl peroxide, yet they  don't have to continue to be the victim of outbreaks of acne, regardless of the reason. Whether the cause is because of changes that are hormonal, for instance teenagers with acne or that experienced by numerous women during their pregnancy, or due to some condition of the skin that creates excessive amounts of oil within their hair follicles, an acne light treatment has the ability to prevent blemishes from appearing.

For many years it has been recognized that normal sunlight is an effective treatment for many forms of acne and as the majority of occasional sufferers of acne realize they have a lot less blemishes when they spend extra time in the sun. Nevertheless, ending up with sunburn as well as the elevated risk of skin cancer precludes its continual use as an effective form of acne light treatment.

Utilizing Ultraviolet Light That Will Not Burn

Extensive research has demonstrated that utilizing ultraviolet light that is outside the spectrum known to damage a persons skin by burning, an effective lower risk path of acne light treatment is one way to go. The majority of the treatment is the blue light spectrum and the red light that has demonstrated it's ability to lower the quantity of bacteria in a persons pores by as much as 99.9 percent in just 3 days.

When a person is considering the use of benzoyl peroxide, they find that they also have to use various facial washes as well as skin conditioner to balance any amount of dryness that happens through the use of this type of treatment. While the expense of acne light treatment devices are greater than the majority of over the counter treatment medications, if you factor in the expenses of the conditioners as well as the washes, they typically will end up being close to the same.

In addition, there is a very low instance of your skin getting damaged through the use of acne chemicals. The user also has less concern in regards to dry skin spots or rashes showing up at the point of application, compared to people who use benzoyl peroxide have experienced. The use of acne light treatment is showing to be a relatively effective as well as safe alternative.

The Idea Of The Lengendary Acne Blemish Cure-All

Everyone gets an occasional acne blemish, but what you do to treat acne when you get this blemish can have a big effect on how long a pimple sticks around, and how visible it is to others. Usually, you will have to allow an acne blemish to run its course, but you can rush the process and keep from making the blemish any worse.

Skn Care

You may not be able to prevent acne breakouts from happening 100% of the time, but you can help to reduce acne blemishes. Start with a good skin care routine, preferably one that cleans the skin without irritating too much. When the acne blemish does appear, treat the acne while continuing your usual skin care routine. To stop will only make breakouts more likely.

When you spot an acne blemish, popping it should not be your first option. Popping a pimple at first sight, hopeful for eradicating it before anyone else can see it, usually makes the situation worse. If a pimple has formed a head, though, then it should be popped so that it can heal. However, squeezing acne before it is ready is bad for your skin and is a poor way to treat acne. When it will not pop, most people continue picking and pinching, which bursts the capillaries (tiny blood vessels) right beneath the skin's surface. This essentially forms a little bruise on your face that is likely to be very visible even after the pimple itself has healed.

Dealing with a Pimple

Once you get an acne blemish, you do still have a few ways to treat acne, but some of them are costly. One new product, called the Zeno acne-clearing device, claims it can eradicate most pimples within twenty four hours. It works by focusing a specific amount of heat on the pimple, which destroys the bacteria causing the blemish. Some people claim that it works perfectly for them, while others say it has virtually no effect on their acne. Luckily, the company offers a money-back guarantee if you are not satisfied. The only drawback for people who find Zeno effective is that it requires disposable tips to work, which some people claim are somewhat pricey depending on how many pimples there are to treat.

Another product used to treat existing pimples is a pen that uses various frequencies of concentrated light. It has been known for a long time that exposure to sunlight helps your skin fight acne, but scientists have determined that the two specific frequency ranges that are most effective appear to us in the form of blue and red light. The blue light works to kill the bacterium that causes acne, while the red light stimulates the healing action of your skin. Dermatologists have used red and blue light treatment for quite sometime, but the light pens that are currently available are completely portable and do not require any replacement tips. However, like Zeno, some people report amazing results from using a light pen while others see absolutely no results at all.

The worst thing you can do when you develop an acne blemish is to try popping it prematurely or washing vigorously to attempt to make it disappear. Zeno and light pens may work for you, but there are no guarantees. These treatment methods do not prevent acne breakouts, and considering the $150 price tag attached to each of these devices, many people are content to simply let the occasional pimple run its course.

Can acne be more serious than simply a cosmetic issue?

Many people ask this question. Perhaps you are wondering if acne has ever gotten so bad for someone that it turned into something worse. The answer is "yes". Though acne is a larger health issue for only some people, it is still worth noting the development of the skin irritation into something more troublesome.

In some cases, acne leads to the scarring of the skin or the outbreak of a serious infection. This form of acne is known as cystic acne. Much like its name applies, cystic acne results in a large bump or cyst. Once a cyst heals, it may leave an obvious scar. It should be noted, however, that cystic acne is rare. If you believe that your acne is turning into something more serious than the usual skin irritation, consult a doctor.

Learn How To Fight Acne

Acne has, over the years, been the cause of an incredible amount of heartache, especially amongst teenagers. However acne is not a disease restricted to just this age group as the problem can persist well into adulthood and even appear in adults who had note previously suffered from the affliction.

Most women are shocked to find that they can suddenly develop acne during pregnancy. My husband was greatly alarmed when pimples started to appear on my face as I had not even had spots during my teenage years. To be honest I think that my skin never really recovered as I continued to have acne outbreaks for many years until I learnt how to bring them under control and reduce the frequency of them dramatically. Although there are periods when I get the odd pimple or two I can usually stop it progressing to a full outbreak with just a little care and attention to the way I treat it.

Although many people say that not washing your face is not the cause of acne I would say that having a good skin care regime is paramount to success in the fight against pimples. I have, through trial and error, discovered that if I keep my skin clean and healthy I have fewer spots appearing. Therefore, if you suffer from acne prone skin, I strongly advise you cleanse your skin deeply every day followed by the use of an astringent or toner (which closes the pores after cleansing).

When choosing which skin cleansers and toners to use you need to ensure that you match the skin care product with your skin type. This is extremely important as some skin care products, especially if they have been formulated for greasy skin, are simply far to harsh for sensitive dry skin.

An alternative way in which you can massively reduce the risks of an acne breakout is by having regular skin care treatments such as microdermabrasion or a mild chemical peel. These treatments were developed as anti-aging skin care treatments but it has been scientifically proven that they can have a dramatic effect upon acne prone skin vastly reducing the risk of outbreaks and bringing acne quickly under control. However you should never have such a treatment on areas where there is active acne.

If, after all your preventative measures have failed, you still find spots and pimples appearing on your skin then it is time to seek medical help. If you are only suffering from it a little then it is perfectly reasonable to try some of the over the counter remedies. Sometimes these products can nip the problem in the bud. Most of the over the counter products are applied topically and contain low solutions of benzoyl peroxide (2.5% to 10% max).5 and 10%. Other active ingredients include sulfur and salicylic acid (sulfur has been successfully used in the treatment of skin problems for over 50 years.

If, sadly, your acne persists you should really seek further medical advice by visiting your family doctor who will be able to prescribe acne treatments which are far more powerful than those available over the counter. Sometimes a short course of antibiotics will bring an outbreak under control within a few days. Alarmingly it is far too common to find that doctors prescribe antibiotics for acne even before attempting to halt it using other proven methods and treatments first. While this will make the patient happy it is now generally accepted that the overuse of such drugs can only lead to problems. I therefore feel that it is important that you at least attempt using the simple methods first.

Burdock Root, A Natural Acne Treatment: Part 1

I see already that this going to need two parts or more to write about. It has taken me some time now to consider writing this but I must. I discovered a few years ago that while taking the burdock root for my colon, I began to experience fewer outbreaks of acne. Let me explain.

I never read anything about anyone using burdock root to treat acne. In fact when it was suggested to me the only thing I remember reading about it was its origin, no recollection about the acne.

I knew what I had experienced, and thought to write on it but did a search first, and actually found two article sites, very little otherwise. They were mainly selling sites. I was the only science project on this that I knew about. Surely there are more.

So, anyway a few years ago I started using burdock root, in capsule form, 540mg/capsule, to help with my colon, per recommendation of my nutritionist and physical therapist, because of some serious digestive issues back in 2001-2004. It is a natural cleanser, a diuretic, so you can imagine why I was on it. It had to be necessary, because I am no pill taker.

In the process of using it I began noticing my acne condition was dimininshing. It was several weeks before it clicked, though. I was on this stuff for my stomach and colon, had no idea of all the other benefits associated with the burdock root. The only logical thing here is to restate what those benefits are, especially in regards to using burdock root to treat the acne condition.

Burdock Root History

When I was a kid I used to play near an old colonial graveyard where these types of plants, in the family of genus Arctium, grew. I used to get them in my hair and clothes, no fun. Never thought I would be drinking burdock root tea or taking it as a capsule, pretty weird.

Burdock root is used in food and beverages, and as a medicine. Most popular as a cuisine in Asia, the roots are mingled with other vegetables and sauces and happily eaten.

Burdock root has been known to be used for many centuries as a purifier to the bloodstream, cleaning out the toxins. It is leaned on as a diuretic as well. Tis true, again I am an experiment to this, it does do this. A natural purifier of the liver and kidneys also.

Burdock root has been used also as a skin remedy for acne, and rosacea. Its oil has been used in years past in treatment of the scalp, promoting healthy growth of hair and also supplying healthy aid to the sebaceous glands. This is where we come in as those suffering with the acne disease.

See Part 2 as this is getting lengthy.

Sure-fire Home Remedies for Acne

Acne!  It definitely doesn’t pose a serious threat to your life or health, but acne occurring on typical areas like the face, neck, back, chest, and shoulders can be great source of agony and emotional distress.

Acne is like the other growing up woes: they normally disappear as soon as those crazy adolescent days are over.

But there are people who are not that lucky: they may be bothered by acne well through their 20’s, 30’s and even beyond.

When acne becomes a nagging irritant like this and disrupts the normal rhythm of life, you must stop experimenting with commercial products and zero in on a package of home remedies.

Five acne home remedies:

1. The first step to acne treatment is cleansing: if you want to keep your face free of acne, you should follow a cleansing regimen everyday. The best cleanser is always made at home. Here is how: add few drops of lemon juice to a small bowl full of milk. Don’t boil the milk; use it as it comes fresh from packet. Soak a cotton wool into the liquid; drab it through your skin; wait for ten minutes or as long as it takes to dry; rinse the face thoroughly.

This home remedy has a very effective deep cleansing effect. Following this everyday will help prevent the clogging of skin pores---the main culprit for causing acne.

2. The next step involves exfoliation for removing the dead skin cells from your skin that leads to the growth of acne causing bacteria on your face. A great home made exfoliating scrub can be prepared with gram flour, oats, a few drops of lemon and a pinch of cocoa powder. Add some warm water to this mixture to bring it to semi liquid state and then apply it all over your face. Wait for ten minutes before rinsing.

3. Next you have to tone the face skin with some home made skin tonic. For acne prone skin, rose water makes the best toner. Another option is a combination of cucumber and lemon juice. For your convenience, you can preserve this concoction as ice cubes---before stepping out; just rub this ice cube over your face to get an instant brightness.

4. The acne skin care regimen should also involve the nourishment of your skin. For that you have to go for a suitable face pack twice a month. The clove based masks work well for acne prone skins. The lentil based face packs are also good for acne skin care. To prepare this you will need lentil powder (50g), orange peels ground with little water (of one medium size orange) and rose- water. Apply this mixture for about an hour and then scrap it off from the face carefully before rinsing off the face.

5. Sometimes you may need localized treatment for one or two eruptions that suddenly occur on your otherwise clear skin. The immediate address of the problem becomes absolute necessary when you have an important appointment for next day and have discovered the possibility of rashes just before going to bed. At this stage you need an overnight treatment; the magic can be done with the paste of fenugreek leaves and sandal wood powder. Mix these two ingredients together and locally apply them over the acne. This will give you a face clear enough to appear for the appointment with confidence.

The effective acne skin care regimen is nothing but blocking the signs of danger before they finally find out the rout to your skin. The above mentioned home remedies are sure to succeed because they take proper care of your skin while controlling the attack of acne.

Burdock Root, A Natural Acne Treatment: Part 2

Acne displays itself on the face, back and neck. Acne doesn't start on the face, neck or back though. The basis of this begins inside the human body. Ultimately, the root source goes back to the pituitary gland, which produces hormones, which in turn release chemicals that effect others cells throughout the human body. Of such effected are the sebaceous glands.

Some areas controlled by the Pituitary Gland are:
1. Basic human growth
2. Blood Pressure
3. Functions of sex organs
4. Water regulation

The basic problem of acne occurs within the Sebaceous glands where an oily substance called Sebum is secreted. Sebum is made up of fat and dead skin. Sebum is produced when the sebaceous glands break down and separate.

Sebaceous glands can be found in hair-covered areas and  non-haired areas. These glands are found over most of our body with the exception of some places. The oil produced also lubricates the hair in order to prevent drying and damaging. Sebaceous glands open up to the hair follicle or to the pour of the skin itself.

Sebum, when at normal levels, is supposed to:
1. Protect skin from bacteria
2. Keep skin hydrated

What creates or trigggers the acne effect?
1. Increased Sebum levels by over active Sebaceous glands often referred to as seborrhoea.
2. Sebum and dead skin clog pores
3. Hormone inbalance - increases level of Sebum
4. Walls of hair follicles bursting

Types of Acne that can occur:
1. Acne Vulgaris
2. Acne Nodule cystic
4. Acne Whitehead and Blackhead(called Comedonal acne)
3. Acne Scarring

Use Burdock Root To Treat Acne

Active ingedients of the Burdock are arcigen, calcium, chlorogenic acid, essential oil, flavonoids, iron, inulin, lactone, mucilage, polyacetylenes, potassium, resin, tannin, and taraxosterol.

Lets look at Inulin:
1. Does not increase blood sugar, benefit to diabetes condition
2. soluble fiber - easy on colon
3. May help lower cholesterol and glucose

Polyacetylenes:
1. anti-inflammatory properties

Iron
1. Blood Builder

Again Burdock root is proven to purify the blood and remove the toxins out of it, as well as treat skin problems. One issue we deal with may be found in the liver not functioning properly in detoxifying the blood giving way to unhealthy skin. Not to mention the need for the digestive tract and kidney to function proper.

I found it amazing that when I felt good, I looked good. My body inwardly feels healthy. My digestive system is working as should. The reduction of toxins and the healthness of the skin has given way to a reduction in bacteria as well. I know that food has been disputed as a cause for acne but I encourage eveyone to look again as being a contributor.

I will suggest this. What happens if we feed the body too much of something it already produces naturally, causing an imbalance? Your body may produce more oil, secrete more sugars, naturally. What we eat may become triggers as the body finds ways of discarding things it cannot digest, and or treats as a toxin. This is just a theory in a way, as that I am not a doctor just an experienced acne individual. A great site to visit is listed here on Sebum. http://dermnetnz.org/acne/sebum.html

Are You On An Anti Acne Diet?

Acne is a common problem especially for those who are just experiencing their beginning teenage years. Through the combination of hormonal changes and improper diet and poor hygiene, acne can rear its ugly head. One thing you can do is develop an anti acne diet which can help you battle against the acne triggers in food. I know many experts say that diet has nothing to do with outbreaks of acne, but having suffered myself, I know by experience, that it is not true, diet is a trigger.

An anti acne diet would be a diet which will help to lessen the effects these contributors. There are actually many things in an anti acne diet that should be followed even if you are not suffering from acne. These things should also be complemented by the right kind of hygiene and care for your skin. This is because the said skin condition can be aggravated by the touch of dirty hands and clogged pores from excessive perspiration. Mine flares up during hot humid days.

Since the skin condition is the result of clogged pores, the anti acne diet will work best if you refrain from overly touching your face and also applying too much make up. Trust me, face touching only spreads the dirt from your hands to your face, assisting the clogging effect. Many types of make up can actually contribute to clogged pores which is you should avoid wearing if you are experiencing a rise in your acne breakouts, because it can be a trigger to you.

Bad things for An Anti Acne Diet

Some of the food stuffs that one should omit from your anti acne diet includes foods which are high in fats, oils and grease. You know, greasy french fries, deep fried anything really. These foods may be naturally rich in fat or may have been cooked with grease and oils, particularly vegetable oil that have had other things cooked in it all day even. I have a hard time with safflower and sunflower oil, even virgin olive oil. I know, these are the healthier oils, but oil is oil. My best luck has been with canola oil, in moderation. The problem with these oily and greasy foods is that our body does not need a lot of oils and grease as it has to get rid of it.

This should be considered when thinking of an anti acne diet. Many believe,(and know) that the oils and grease from fast foods and other fried foods will add to the rising problems regarding the skin condition. The increase of it for me personally will cause a breakout every time. Remember, your skin needs to be able to breathe. Clogged pores can happen naturally, they don't need our help. I have noticed by not touching my face alot has reduced the breakouts.

Good Things in a Anti Acne Diet

An anti acne diet should have high fiber fruits and vegetables to help ease the passage of the bowels. Irregular bowel movement encourages toxins to build in our body thus creating skin breakouts and blemishes. Natural grains are also great as sources of fiber. We need Water! Our body is made up of more than 90% water. So, keep yourself hydrated, it does help. Especially on those hot, humid days, which become a challenge to me. I have experienced what I call humid acne that occurs sometimes. They can appear and go away once the body is cleansed and cools down. Weird, but true.

Creating your very own anti acne diet can end up with satisfactory results if you follow the diet closely and accompany the diet with exercise and good hygiene practices.

Learn more about the Best Acne Medications

Acne is becoming more and more of a common problem in our current society, it affects millions of individuals. Statistics reports that the vast majority of people will suffer at one time in their life from this condition. Of course most cases are not severe and disappear in time but for the rest the acne persist and can often seriously disfigure the face.

Anyone suffering from the most severe forms of acne should immediately consider finding the right kind of acne medication. The best way to choose from amongst the range of acne medications available is to consult a skin specialist on the various prescription medications available for acne. It is important to understand that prescription medication are specially designed to meet the need of each patient individually.

Acne: The Choices for Topical Medication

Amongst all the available acne medication on the market, many believe that topical prescriptions are the most effective to get rid of acne problems. In the majority of cases a simple application directly on the affected area can have a significant healing impact. This type of remedy can be very useful for those suffering from mild to severe acne problems. Many studies have proven that the skin can start to heal within a couple of days of using this treatment.

These topically applied medications also have other uses and benefits. They can help moisturize and nourish the skin and stop the signs of premature aging. Constant exposure to the sun for instance causes premature wrinkles and acne treatments that contain retinoids will not only help cure acne, but also cause a reduction in the appearance of wrinkles.

Oral Antibiotics and Acne

Of course topical acne treatments are not effective for everyone, in some cases where the acne is severe, the skin might not respond to certain topical medication after a certain point. In these cases there are other options available to help destroy the bacteria that are responsible for acne like antibiotics. Keep in mind that antibiotics should never be self prescribed. Speaking with your dermatologist or doctor is mandatory before taking any kind of antibiotics treatments as they can have some side effects.

These possibly violent side effects could even cause permanent damage to the body if taken recklessly. In some cases the prescribed acne medication doesn't work like it should, in that case one should return to the dermatologist. Only such qualified professionals are fully aware of side effects and will prescribe the correct medications that are suited to a particular person.
